Hello everybody! I'm so happy to share with you this project! I've been thinking about this for so long! Since January! but finally could make it, Hope you like it as much as I do, you'll see in the presentation video how many times I said that! LOL!! But I really do.

Hola a todos!! Estoy tan feliz de compartir éste proyecto con ustedes! He pensado en él por tanto tiempo, desde enero! Y por fin pude hacerlo. Espero que les guste tanto como a mi! De verdad sonrío cada vez que lo veo :))

Here you can see is made with 3 projects, the reverse canvas in front, behind is the lamp and at the very back is the reel, with the buildings.

Aquí pueden ver que se compone de tres partes, al frente el canvas por el reverso, detrás está la lámpara y al fondo el carrete con los edificios.

I used @Graphic45 papers, the collections are Time Nuvou and Communique, lovely papers!

Usé papeles de las colecciones de graphic 45 Time Nuvou y communique, papeles preciosos!!

To frame the picture I also used scraps from both collections.

Para enmarcar la foto también usé pedazos de papel de las colecciones.

Hello dear crafters!!! I won a new prize with Lindy's and what I picked up was basically magicals!! I never use them before, and as soon as they arrive I needed to work with them, so I ran to find an old book in a flea market to altered it and I made an art journal page as a new entrance to Lindy's september challenge, this is the result, hope you like it! I love it, specially because the pic is an old one of me and my sister; I really love that pic!. I'll give you the color's list and th tutorial below.

Hola queridos amigos creativos!! Resulta que gané un nuevo premio con Lindy's y lo que elegí ésta vez fueron, básicamente, magicals!! Nunca antes los había usado y tan pronto llegaron tenía que estrenarlos así que alteré un libro viejo que conseguí en una tienda de segunda y me hice la primera página de art journal para crear una nueva entrada en el reto de septiembre de Lindy's, éste es el resultado, espero que les guste, me encanta lo vibrante que son estos colores!! Hello dear crafters!! Today I have this beautiful recipe book for a man who loves history, geography and cook of course, so I decided to use design papers related to this. For this recipe book I made something new for me, a different sewing and I have to say that I love how nice this looks!!! Specially because I used a piece of leather that already had.

Hola gente creativa!! Hoy les tengo éste recetario para un hombre que le encanta la historia, geografía y cocinar por supuesto, así que decidí usar papeles que estuvieran relacionados con éste tema. Para éste recetario me aventuré con un cosido diferente que no había hecho antes y debo decir que me encantó el resultado!! Especialmente con las tiras de piel que ya tenía y las aproveché.

To embellish a bit the cover I used this metal pieces that had since years ago

Para adornar la portada usé éstos cubiertos de metal que tengo desde hace años.

But I really love how great looks the spine with the leather strips!

Pero realmente me encanta cómo se ve la espina con las tiras de piel!!

Of course, if you don't have leather can use ribbon or even paper, just cover it with 2 or 3 layers of multi medium

Por supuesto si no tienes piel, puedes usar listón, una pieza de tela o papel, sólo que éste último cúbrelo con varias capas de pegamento para hacerlo más resistente. 

I added a ribbon  with a little spoon at the end to separate the pages.

Agregué un listón con una cucharita al final, para hacer un separador de páginas.

Here are the measurements I used to make the holes.

Aquí están las medidas que usé para hacer los hoyos.

This is the template for the internal pages, is already center, but you'll need to cut off a bit down, as shown in the tutorial.

Y éste es el formato que hice para las páginas internas, ya está centrado pero tendrán que cortar un poco abajo como verán en el tutorial.
