Breast Cancer Awareness canvas | Inspiration

 

Hello everybody! Cecilia here with a mixmedia canvas designed for Fantasy and to inspire you. October 19 is dedicated to make aware about the breast cancer, so I wanted to create something pretty  in memory of all of our loved ones that has been dealing with that. First I made my canvas with a piece of chipboard then I made some stitches on the fabric before I stick it on the chipboard thinking in how difficult must to be loosing a part of your body to live it requires love and courage. When the canvas was ready I used crackle paste and modeling paste to add texture I colorize a little bit the background with my Lindy's sprays and some gilded flakes to showcase the stitches and distress the edges. I paint a piece of fabric to make the cancer symbol and then the best part was decorate it with gorgeous handmade flowers, die cuts and chipie from Fantasy all are listed below. The final touch was adding some quotes and that's it. I hope you will like it and feel inspired by my canvas xoxo Cecilia.

Hello crafty friends! This time I'm sharing with you this beautiful canvas with dimension, I love it! The picture was the inspiration and I'm so please with the result, I hope you like it!

The idea of making this canvas is for a gift to a dear friend, but also to participate in the challenge of the More than words challenge blog, I miss my sweet teamies, so I'm going to be there now as a participant, not DT the word is romance and roses, and I used some roses, but also pink colors as well as lace, I think that's romance! also, I'm going to enter another challenge in Mixed Media Place, so wish me luck!

Hola amigos creativos! Esta vez les comparto éste hermoso canvas con mucha dimensión, me fascinó! Como pueden ver, la foto fué la inspiración y estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado, espero a ustedes también les guste!

La idea de hacer el canvas fué para regalarlo a una querida amiga, pero también para participar en el challenge de febrero de More Than Words challenge blog, extraño a mis queridas compañeras de equipo, así que estaré participando éste mes como concursante no como parte del equipo de diseño, la inspiración del challenge es romance and roses así que ambos factores están en mi cnavas, algunas rosas y flores en ése color además de encajes, también participaré en el reto del blog de 

Mixed media place, así que deseenme suerte!.

I made this mixmedia and scrapbook canvas dedicated to my mom, because I grew up with music sheet books, she's a piano concert player and composer and I can't remember one day without hearing my mom playing the piano. This wonderful person is my grandfather who always live in my heart, so I wanted to do this because one of the most cherised memories of my childhood is playing in his office with the gorgeous typewriter, that's why I added some of them as backround, some are @Graphic 45 cut outs and other are stamped and embossed. For the rust element I combined acrylic paints with a bit of sand to give texture.

Este persona increíble es mi abuelo quien siempre vive en mi corazón, así que quise hacer éste proyecto porque uno de los recuerdos de mi infancia que más atesoro, es jugar en su oficina con su increíble máquina de escribir, es por eso que usé varias en el canvas, algunas son recortes de Graphic 45 y otras sellos que embosé. Para el elemento rústico, combiné pinturas acrílicas con arena y dar textura.
